BRING YOUR FLASHCARDS so we can review vocabulary. I'll also bring my laptop so we can work with Rosetta Stone if we want and a worksheet for reviewing verb conjugation.
I'd also like to talk about the possibility of obtaining a dedicated space to meet and also store materials like books, videos, etc.

Caspian is closed Mondays, so this week we're meeting at Acadia Cafe (http://www.acadiacafe.com/). Bring an object/photo you can talk about, or prepare a story to tell. Suggestions for locations, activities, materials that can make this more fun would be really appreciated.
It will take some planning ahead, but the following week we could go to the Midtown Global Market (http://www.midtownglobalmarket.org/). I think it would be fun, but it's not near either campus and I would need at least one other volunteer to drive.

Persian/Farsi Conversation Group MONDAY Feb. 2
The conversation group meeting day has been changed to Mondays. The next meeting will be Feb. 2, 6-8pm @ Acadia Cafe (see link below for map). I was thinking this time bring a photo or an object that you can describe to the group in Farsi and then answer questions. Also, to practice speaking in the past tense, think about a childhood memory you could relate in Farsi.
